Orion Homes’ Sales Buck the Traditional Christmas Lull

the-grove.jpgWith recent reports that the UK has finally inched out of recession and house prices continuing their steady recovery, Orion Homes have experienced a more dramatic upsurge with an impressive burst of sales during what is traditionally one of the quietest times of the year for house-builders.

Despite the closure of the Sales Information Centres over the Christmas and New Year period, in space of two months four mews properties have been purchased at The Grove in Roundhay and another four mews homes have been purchased at Spring Place Park in Northorpe, near Mirfield.Availability is already becoming limited at The Grove with just two luxurious four bedroom homes left for sale, each priced at £370,000.

“Even with the many distractions of Christmas and New Year we have received a lot of visitors at our developments,” said Orion Homes’ sales and marketing director, Dianne Reynolds. “The recent opening of a showhome has attracted a great deal of interest at The Grove.”

“At Spring Place Park, our First Step equity share scheme has been invaluable in facilitating many purchases by allowing homebuyers to acquire 100 per cent of a three or four bedroom home while initially paying just 75 per cent of its price.”

Prices at Spring Place Park start from £164,995 with 100 per cent part exchange, up to 100 per cent mortgages and the First Step scheme available on selected plots. Further information is available from the Sales Information Centre and showhome (open from Thursday to Monday, between 11am and 5pm) on 01924 499169. Details on The Grove are available during the same hours on 0113 2652738.
